Please pardon my crassness, but girl, this piece was balls-to-the-wall awesome! I love how you bring out the red-blooded male aspect to these two and then mix things up even more with your vibrant stylistics. It makes me wonder what a road trip with all the Rogues would be like..

Day After Day, True, it's not so much a gay anthem specifically, but you wouldn't know it from the way it was hit about our local LGT community some years ago. As to the lyrics, well if you really want to get technical about them, they seem rather *cough* Oedipal o.O But those weren't the lines that people were singing, at least not around here ^_^ Master and Servant isn't specifically gay anthem either, but again, locally held the same status. Hartley chose them more for the explicit lyrics, really -- James's imagination was already turning *everything* into a gay anthem (come on, Stairway?? You're really reaching, James.)

I read a fic a while back that did feature a Rogues road trip and, well, nothing I could do could top that, because I really can't imagine it'd be anything BUT "Mom and a minivan full of brats." ^_____^
