The main purpose of this post is to provide a place with the links to all of the chapters of Heat so people can get to it all from one place. As a bonus, however, I thought I'd post some scans of a couple of the incidents that are referred to in the story.

Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments people have left; it was incredibly cool to see that so many people seemed to like it. greenygal and I worked on it for a long time and it was a relief to get such a positive reaction. And yes, there is very likely to be more :-).

Now, read on for the scans!



First is the incident that Piper goes nuts over in part 3, the arrow covered in Joker venom. Some of the story has been scanned in before, but here are three pages from it, in any case:

Piper's been hauled in for the death of his parents, and he's confused and disorientated when asked whether he actually did it. Then along come some Joker infected bad guys:



Everyone okay? Errrr.... probably not.





Ouch. It gets even worse after that, believe it or not. Flash #179. Pick it up if you can find it :-).

Second; the incident Trickster alludes to in part 4; getting turned into glass by the Mirror Master (from Flash #127):

The Rogues have lost their souls because of the demon Neron and are causing havoc. So Flash seeks Trickster out, reasoning that he's an expert in dealing with Neron:



Unfortunately, the Rogues got to him first...



*winces* Double ouch. You can see why they might have been just a little traumatised by the incidents.

And we love the trauma :-).
