(Of course, if the urge for Piper/Trickster fanfic drove you to write more of your own, it's not like anybody would complain, least of all us... *smiles brightly*)

I think that now that things have calmed down, Piper's going to really enjoy teasing Trickster about the door-stealing thieves. It's not often that he gets such a good opening...

I laughed at the part when Trickster explained that the bullet wound was a clever ploy, but for what he couldn't remember.

The Trickster is always in control of events! He would never get shot unless he meant to! ("Oh, yeah? What about that time--" "Shut up, Piper. Anyway, he didn't shoot me." "Yes, because you passed out." "I meant to do that! It was a feigned show of weakness!" "Mm-hmm." "Hey, it worked!" "In the sense that it gave me an opportunity to jump him...yes." "All part of the plan." "You didn't even know I was there! I had to get through a whole complex full of guards to find you!" "Yes, but you did, didn't you? I had complete faith." "...one of these days I'll work out whether I want to hit you or..." "Let's just leave it there, shall we?" "Right." "Right.")

I'm torn between a sigh of relief at Trickster being okay, and a sigh of sadness that the fic's over...

Really looking forward to reading more of the story, whenever it turns up- there's so much emotional depth here, and I'd love to see it further explored.
