Casting Axel
I may be delusional from the incredibly high pollen count, but: lately I find myself kinda hoping they'll call Justin Bieber and have him play Trickster (amalgam of I and II, which is about all I'm hoping for now) in a Flash movie. Because it could just be totally awesome if he's allowed to cut loose / not care / be a snotty little sneaky badboy ...think of George Clooney's magnificent against-type badass turn in From Dusk 'til Dawn.
At his best, Axel is described (although, sadly, still unrealized in canon) as being "like an evil Robin." There's huge potential there, for both epic battles and humor, and it would get the tweens/teens into the theatres. And it would be freakin' hilarious if they played it like a warped version of Hannah Montana, where he's this HUGE teen dream star by night and this mayhem artist supervillain-wannabe by day....
