Pipster Prompt-a-Thon hits the 5000

Yes, our prompt-a-thon has hit and surpassed the 5000 comments mark.
Currently we have 5022 comments.
(I wasn´t there to witness the epic 5000th comment, I suspect it was some time ago, sorry for only posting now)

Huge thanks to all who participated; be proud of yourself because what we did, was just plain awesome.

You are so right. This event was the equal of NaNoWriMo in its epic scope. It brought some new voices into the comm. It made real progress in defining the Pipster fandom (progress which DC ought to be watching from the shadows). It was a great event, and I am so grateful to everyone who participated.

the comparison of nanowrimo is flattering (especially considering I always mean to participate in that but never do while this is already the second prompt-a-thon for this comm^^)

quite possibly this, maybe also the combo of christmas, new year´s eve and valentine´s day gave us all something else to do^^
I´ve been meaning to propose some comm activities for new year´s or valentine´s day, but couldn´t make it, so extra thanks to you for stepping up^^

maybe some 1st of april tricksterfest is in order...

I did (cough) make a half-assed start on going through the comments and looking for unanswered prompts, in case we wanted to start a new post. But then my RL got crazy, and I only got to page two.

Man, I miss the prompt-a-thon. We should do another one sometime. Maybe around summer when people are out of school.

We started the last one around the end of june and the one before that started also in summer, so I´ll just ask around in summertime if people are still up for it and then we´ll make another one^^

People, you are all kinds of awesome. 5022? I really mean it. Awesome :o)

I'm a bit sad it's over, because I would've liked to post a prompt for someone with more imagination than me to write - something about the Rogues discovering our comms (the Pipster one and the Rogues one) and their reaction to all that's been written and drawn about them :D

Well, I wouldn´t necessarily declare this thon just over (the last one ended because the only 2 remaining players - ivy and me - decided to quit due to various reasons) but new prompts won´t probably get much attention.
Just remember your prompt when the next thon comes around (and trust me, it will come) and post it then^^
