I was scheduled to post something today, but I wasn't sure what I would do. However, instead of thinking of this post as poor planning on my part I'd prefer to think of it as me extending the gift giving season

"Go! Go! Don't look back!" James would occasionally bark out as they ran from the pure destruction following them out of hell itself.
"Look! The gate to the surface world!" Eddie wanted to cry with relief, but there would be time for that later.
Of course the gate began to close.
"Power slide!" James called out before doing just that. Somehow he wrapped his arms Eddie and they slid under the gate just as he was coming down.
Eddie wanted to look at the gate, but James held his head.
"For future reference kid, deities are all assholes who will exploit the tiniest loop hole in a deal. Okay?"
"But Neron said we can't look back while running out of hell."
"Hell includes that gate until it disapears. Personally I don't want to wait around for that. Let's go find a town."
Eddie nodded. "Okay."
A week later Eddie found himself in the midwest living with James and a man he called Piper. Piper had punched James when he first saw them. Then he kissed James and they cried while they held each other. It was weird, then again being a superhero was always weird.

Always hated that they didn't do something with Tricks and Kid Devil, while they were both still around.
