This is SO well done! I have been regretting this missed opportunity from Blackest Night also. This hits all the emotional buttons perfectly. And of course Piper (whom I'm writing with some OCs in an immediately-post-Blackest-Night hospital!fic right now) would respond exactly like this. Hope *NEVER* dies.
