The other day at work (I'm a chaplain at a nursing home) I found this chair next to the Dumpster. I immediately dragged it back into the building and up to my counseling office. The other staff already call me Pied Piper because the dementia patients always want to follow me everywhere. (Since I'm also a church youth pastor, my pockets are stuffed with candy, that's why.) So now when I sit down, I feel like there's a James somewhere with his arms around me. Very comforting when you consider the kinds of issues that we deal with in this type of facility. And so I present to you: The James Jesse Memorial Chair.
