So... OK ...So...

We interrupt this intricate introspection for a progressive period of pure panic-!

So... OK ...So...

NOTE: This tale DOES interrupt "So... What Do You Say?" and should be read after Part 2A of "S...WDYS?" but before Part 2B of "S...WDYS?" which will be posted later this month.

It's so cute to see Trickster as the nervous one, especially compared to Hartley, who's usually not the optimistic one. Every time you mention Tricksy's scars I want to punch Deadshot right in the throat as hard as I can. I think the looks thing would bother Gio a lot more than it'd bother Hart...Piper'd be too overjoyed Tricksy's alive to let something like that bother him. But I can see why Gio would be concerned- he was always the best looking Rogue and one of the youngest, so he'd probably be a bit worried to lose his looks :(

Man, I hate Deadshot. Well, him and the editors who told the writers to kill off Trickster to create tension. You know what else creates tension, writers of Countdown? Good storytelling!

Comics would be better if fanfic writers like you had more control over what gets written in them.

Ah, Tricky's off-balance... always entertaining! I'm glad you found it so. :)

Yes, part of his/their challenge this go-round is the scars. The Old Man let him go back into the game, but Gio's gonna hafta figure out how to play this way.... Also, to me Gio -although a certifiable genius- has always dwelt intensely in his body, and as a coyote this is doubly so. (And he may be cavalier about those scars THIS morning, but he's cavalier about EVERYTHING this morning....)

And, frankly, he laid all his plans to get into the house and talk to Hartley (etc......) but this is where the best laid plans o' rats and men gae aft aglee and he KNOWS so... and he's shivery-scared and THRILLED that this is where it all gets iiiiinteresting....

I'm ever so happy I finally figured out a way to read these. Because if I hadn't... I'd be missing out on all this excellent characterization and a very gripping story.

*blushing* Thank you. And thanks for making the effort to find a way to read the tales! (It took me & rabidsamfan forever to figure out HOW to post them with their structural integrity intact!) I'm glad you're enjoying them... and I'm happy indeed to be able to give these tales such a good home here at Snark & Handcuffs!

Ivybramble -- could you please at your convenience post a how-to view these docs? Others may still be struggling, and I KNOW how frustrating that can be! Thanks a lot!
