Cross-posting this from flash_rogues because of the Piper and Trickster content...

Thought I'd show off my (belated) birthday-and-Christmas gifts -- three Rogues-related art pages. Includes two pages from Countdown of the boys!

Also, here's an interesting little something I found at the same site that I'd never seen before: a group shot of DC villains, Read more... )

At first glance I was convinced the Piper and Boomerang had their hands on each other's knees!

(and it took a lot of flicking back and forth to see the difference in hair styles; a redrawing, rather than a copy, I guess).

Yeah, it's definitely not a copy. Cold and Trickster look somewhat grimmer in the later pic, Weather Wizard has less floofy hair and looks kind of bored rather than resentful, and the Top looks more cheery rather than spaced out and annoyed.

Also, I think at first glance everyone thinks they have their hands on each other's knee :>

He has a lot of love to share. Who are we to stand in his way?

Grodd looks very special in these pics. He's up to something, I know it.

Yeah, Countdown didn't have much in the way of good stuff, but that was one of my favourite scenes too. And the pages were pretty cheap. I've never seen the puppet show pages for sale, but if I did I'd try to get them!

Wow, the CD pages *___*

You know, I don't collect comic pages but seeing this I think of starting it *lol* (other self: Don't you dare Hermi, you can barely Cosplay and draw properly...! Me: T___T You're no fun other self....)

I think (concerning the fact I want to work as a comicartist) it's fascinating how they're inked...you see clearly how the inker worked. (almost a bit too clearly *lol* But that was maybe the scanner ;3)

Oh mighty photoshop how dare you make us think that they actually give perfect lineart to DC ;D

Very cool :)

And yeeeah I agree with this 'OMG are Boomer and Piper touching each other's knees?? XD'
