Well I figured that an entry about how I spent the national holiday of the birth of the United States of America was in order.
I started the day by driving mom to Wal-Mart to get her hair cut which took up a good hour and a half to two hours (2 people working at a salon is a bad thing especially when the computers are down). Then did a little shopping and I refuse to admit how much money I spent. I then got home and cooked dinner and waited for Jared to come pick me up.
The real way that I celebrated the 4th of July is by going to a free concert (Billy Currington) on Fort Stewart with my brother Jared, his wife Amanda, her friend Terri, and Terri's daughter. I will just talk about Jared and Amanda cause I'd rather forget the other two were there. We had fun, I just really really missed Chris and wished that he was there with me. There were some songs that just made me want Chris to be there to hold me and dance with me. We stayed for the fireworks afterward of course (what better way to celebrate the birthday of our country than by blowing up a small piece of it?) and they were good, but nothing overly impressive. We then went to get something to eat at Huddle House which Jared paid for me even though he knew that I had money on me. While we were at Huddle House, one of my managers, Bill, called my cell phone and immediately they all started asking me questions. Is he married? Is he dating someone? Does he have children? Yadda yadda yadda... I told them to butt out that it wasn't their business and the proceeded to talk to him for awhile, he was calling to see if I had fun at the concert. When I got off, their first question was if Bill has the "hots" for me! HE'S MY FRIEND!!!!! Why is it so hard for people to grasp the concept that a man and a woman can be just good friends? Also why is it so hard to believe that I am friends with my boss? Then we went home (about midnight) and I started typing this entry.
