Contagious Dork Meme
OK, as I find this an interesting meme and haven't actually written anything in forever I figured I'd accept the tag iterationzero pointed at me. I don't think I know 5 other dorks on Livejournal, as iterationzero would be one and another he tagged jakeaidan would be high on that list, so I'm gonna skip on the chain effect this time. Anyone who wishes to respond with a few are more than welcome to though ;)
List 5 reasons why you are a dork. And make them good reasons. Justify them. Explain them. Be loud and proud about how big of a dork you are! Then pick the 5 biggest dorks you know and have them do the meme.
1. I bought 12 boxes of Fruit Loops/Sugar Smacks/Apple Jacks/Frosted Flakes for the sole reason of getting a blue or green light saber spoon as box after box spat red glowing spoons at me. This insanity led to a friend ebaying to get me the blue and green spoons for my birthday.
2. I have an entire room (in a tiny house) with a primary function of having a place to play games. Attached to this room is a closet, a big closet, with approximately 60 square feet of shelving loaded with various board games, card games, role playing games, and miniatures games stacked on top of each other to the point where their might as well not be shelves at all.
3. As an exercise to learn the PHP programming language for work, I created a program that would give you the relative probabilities of pulling a poker chip of a particular color from a bag, recalculating after each pull.
4. I can recite from memory the entire McDonald's menu circa mid 80's when they had the "Menu Song" commercials. I actually got a free meal once for blurting it all out when I ordered! Big Mac, McDLT, a Quarter Pounder with some cheese....
5. I got twitchy excited when I saw I could preorder the Fraggle Rock - Complete First Season being released on September 6th. "Gotta UNGH UNGH pass it ON!!"
