Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up
Yeah, it's cliche. Still, I had a great weekend with friends which always makes you appreciate what you have.
David, Ray, Aarin, and Brynne came over on Saturday. We were only expecting Aarin and maybe Ray, getting the four of them in the same room has been a delicate situation. For posterity, Brynne and Aarin broke up not too long ago, messy as relationship break ups tend to be, and Ray still hasn't really gotten over her from when they were together. So here they all are, in the same room, laughing, playing games, enjoying themselves and it just was such a great time. We actually got a game of the Legend of the Five Rings in with everybody but David with a group of characters that we haven't been able to play in ages.
My friends are closer than my family, and the loss would be greater were they to be removed from my life. Is that horrible?
