The festival isn't until September, but you may want to buy tickets now before the price goes up.
EarthDance Austin is a 3-day festival with music, dancing, eco-friendly and healthy workshops, drum circles, camping, a kids village, and more. It will be September 25th through 27th, 2009 at Apache Pass in Rockdale TX 76567 (go out Hwy 79 northwest of Taylor TX). Half of the profits will be given to charities: The S.H.I.R.E., Friends of Fresh and Green Academy, AIDS Services of North Texas, and The Lance Armstrong Foundation.
At EarthDance Austin we will join in a prayer for peace done simultaneously with other EarthDance events all around the world! The prayer for peace will be at 6:00pm Saturday.
There will be over 50 musical acts including Spoonfed Tribe, Kevens, The Lovers, Govinda, Dirtfoot, and Grimy Styles. The Lovers are scheduled to play at 2:00pm Sunday afternoon on The Cliff Stage.
Tickets are currently $75, but we are told the price will go up to $95 on July 15th. So get your tickets now, or apply to be a volunteer.
