havent really thought this one through very well...my mind was wandering while i sit here listening to an old "bad brains" album from the mid 80's.

so i start thinking about how lucky i am to have been able to download this crusty old album, as it would have been impossible to get ahold of such a cd in my hometown of timmins where it can be very hard to get music you want.

then i started thinking about how awsome it must be for someone in a less powerful nation to have access to the same stuff i have access too. Of course it would be even harder to find said "Bad brains" album in Kandahar Afghanistan. Not just stupid punk music but i mean the worlds most professional art and culture....movies, books, real art everything.

then to consider the guy against piracy.

immediately i think they would have some close connection to the industry, if not it would just be douchey(sp?)

even if they are in the industry, its an extremely CONSERVATIVE way to think, which to me seems very selfish.

Pan's Labyrinth came out this year. amazing film, but think how many español around the world could not afford to see their own movie...
