my world is always changing, as a human creature of habit i tend to fight it and try and stay the same, it dosent work. As with anyone i go through events in my life, learning from them, and changing the way i would react to certain situations. sometimes it helps me, if i have already been through a similar situation it will likely be much easier ( Read more... )

I think the point of my post was lost when you got to about here: "i find it kind of funny that you would even try to give me advice or challenge me in conversation, considering you have no idea who i am."

Probably because you started to remember your childhood and began to fill the post with hate rather than understanding. Do not blame anything upon my childhood.

"Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply. They're either speaking or preparing to speak. They're filtering everything through their own paradigms, reading their autobiography into other people's lives." which is what I think you've done, you have taken your childhood and filtered it through mine.

You are correct in to say you do not know who I am or vice versa. Just understand that I can relate to some of your situations. To say I've never done drugs is not true. If you've known that I had done alot in my teens and also had friends die because of them or have had friends lives completely destroyed through drug use, would you think different of me? It really doesn't matter.

I hope you do goto school.

It doesn't matter who gives the advice, it's what is done with it that matters. An accountant doesn't typically know his/her clients, he understands the trends in the market and how money works. Neither does a family doctor so why do we take their advice?

I'm not trying to challenge you in anyway, and do not understand why you feel that way. Maybe you feel threatened because you have some thought that I'm living the life I want to and you are not? I don't have a great job working with computers and I'm still paying for college four years later, does that change anything? Again, doesn't matter.

I feel this post is going to turn into one huge argument and I do not want that. I'll just say that I'm sorry I ever tried to show that I cared and that I do want the best for you not because I feel sorry for your situation but because I feel that we all deserve the best in life.
