I can't believe it, here I am over five years on buying B5 DVDs. I was a fan when it was originally on TV, I even went to a convention on London - not my usual scene but I'll try anything once. However, after I had submitted the girl and I stayed with my parents for a while and I introduced the girl to B5 on DVD since I'd mentioned it once or twice and my Dad had just bought it on DVD. What suprised me was she really liked it and we then devoured Season 1 in the few weeks we had before leaving for Australia.
Since arriving here we discovered how cheap the DVD box sets are, 24 quid for 22 episodes is cheap entertainment by British standards, and we now own 3 B5 seasons on DVD. Ah, the joy of seeing an old friend. Babylon 5 is still very good drama, okay the Computer graphics won't "Wow!" you any more, but watching the story unfold again and watching all the characters go down their paths for the second time is really great.
