it's just silly
heh, this is what boredom, wikipedia, and too much thinking results in.
Humans typically try to find the meaning of life; this can lead to only two logical options: Realizing that life is meaningless and living for the here and now, or, allowing a belief in a higher power (god) to give meaning. Even this is flawed however, as there is no human way to comprehend the purpose of God, making belief in that absurd.
Now this appears to be rather bleak, and for most it is. For some, the only choice for a life without purpose is suicide, because ending their life is just a reaction to the absurdity of it. Without life, the connection between observing the world, and the absurdity ceases to exist. But if life is absurd, it is even more so to try to end it. The best way to deal with it is to reconcile the fact you live in a world without purpose, and there may be no higher power.
That may be far too bleak a view for many, including myself, and there is a reason for living, in the beauty a person can find all around them. I know, it seems a cheesy line, but is it not better than no meaning in life? You could also say it is the meaning that you create gives a meaning, if not a true one.

It is through this freedom that man can act either as a mystic (through appeal to some supernatural force) or an absurd hero (through a revolt against such hope). Although most of this higher pondering and philosophy is beyond me and betterleft to those who enjoy arguing metaphysics, I do believe that there is no higher purpose in life, you make your own. That life is truly absurd by nature, and by realizing this you do become free of the shackles of false logic. Of course, I could just be bat-shit crazy.
