FREEDOM is SLAVERY
So, I've finished reading 1984 by George Orwell. I rate it as a
. I love George Orwell and his political genious. He wrote this book in 1950's, after WWII, to talk about how a government can be so corrupt because of its thirst for power. As I read this book, I got very paranoid because I can see how closely the government today relates to this horror story.
- Government listening in, watching everything people do. Security cameras are everywhere and how do we know that the government haven't secretly installed more cameras.
- Guantanamo Bay is similiar to the prison described in this book. It is terrifying.
- Meaningless war... so on and so forth.
This is an awesome book and a must read. Go and get one today!
