The whole sitch. without meat is so far going spiffingly. Smoked salmon is waaaaaaay better on bread than ham, if the thingummy in the paella the other day was tofu then it's good too and I have learned to try to eat other new things too.
Today I made macaroni casserole using soy instead of minced meat and it was ok. I didn't have onions and all the stuff so it wasn't utterly earth-shaking good but it's eadible. Didn't taste all that different as the macaroni casserole I have made (with minced meat without onions) so soy is fine and will stick in my diet.
Lat night I looked through my cooking books to find some veggie-food to try and the main problem is with probably everything that my first opinions to half of the ingredients tend to be negative. Broccoli for example: Nope. Red onions: Won't eat. Bell pepper: Eww (thoug the thingummy with that one is that the raw bell pepper makes me nauseous and IMO it's far better to avoid it than eat it and throw up in the plate later. Kinda ruins the meal for the rest of the company, I think. I can eat small amounts of bell pepper that has been cooked and have actually started to like it. Though not sure if I can make stuffed bell peppers and eat them. I wish that I could, somehow.) That makes cooking little tricky. I really don't want to spend some of my limited money to food I don't like to eat. Which makes the school lunch even better choice. I can try different veggies and other things for free and find out what I like and dislike and that's cool. I really cannot understand why some people (my class-mate for example) just skip the free meal and instead suffer the hunger (I have heard that she doesn't even eat breakfast so that's crazy, I say. And it's not that she's some regular ED-people as she hasn't lost any weight since we met. I think she tries to lose some pounds and think the best way to do that is to avoid eating during days, to safe the calories and then eat some junk food in the evenings. If one knows as much about losing weight as I do, then one knows exactly how wrong that goes.). Free food is free food even when it's not very awesome and has overdoses of parsley.
I think I didn't made much sense in this post. Oh well. I have fics to write and even though I ate a good deal of that casserole an hour and a half ago, I still feel hungry. Need some carrots. And perhaps a bit of swede. Brain works slowly now is my point. See ya later, folks!
