I read the post by storyfan  and took a peek at the link she provided. Made me a bit pissed of as those things tend to do, so I had to make a lolz. And who would be better than that awful chap I don't know why he's a celebrity and even who he is. Not that I wish to know his name. One picture is just fine. So, my second caption, dedicated to all the super- ( Read more... )

Yes, sometimes my homeschool group can really tick me off. The group is not supposed to be political, nor is it supposed to side with one religion or another. But the members seem to forget that sometimes.

So this guy actually posed with his underpants hanging out. And please tell me his belt buckle doesn't say "rape." I enlarged it a couple of times, but I couldn't tell.

But the larger problem here is that a lot of religious people haven't read the Bible. Nowhere in there does Jesus take a stand against homosexuality. There are some verses that condemn it in the old testament, and I think a few of Paul's letters mention his opposition to it, but Jesus never does. And Jesus is supposed to be the star of the Bible. If he doesn't condemn it, why should anyone who believes in this book condemn it?

While I don't believe in God, I do think Jesus or some teacher like him existed. I think of this guy as a person who simply went around preaching about loving and taking care of each other.

In fact, there is a passage where a Roman soldier begs Jesus to cure a beloved slave. The soldier would only have kept a male slave. Jesus cures the slave (I'm not sure why he was sick), but says nothing about the relationship between the two men.

Forgive me if you already know this. I have a tendency to go on and on about some subjects.

I spent a while looking other captions of this pic and some of them said that his belt-buckle says 'Bape' which apparently means some cloth-thingy and that chap is known of using them.

moar funny pictures Did as they suggested so I know.

Anyways, I think the same way as you do, that the thing is more like there's no God but that shouldn't stop people of being nice. I believe I have stated it already but to me God is like the big thing that explained everything before there was a thing called 'science'.

But now to the main thing: THERE'S SLASH IN BIBLE?!?!? OMG! Tell me more!!! *grin*

I did a little checking in my trusty bible. Both Matthew and Luke mention the story, but Luke is where the slash is: Look for Luke Ch. 7, verses 1-10. The second verse describes the slave as "dear" to the Roman soldier. Well, we slashers know what that means.
