Old photographs

Instead of using my time to start the biochemistry-homework-thingummy I have to finish in 24 hours, I spent some time watching my old schoolpictures. That made me think many things but mostly I was amused. The school I went for six years was small, there was around 30-40 pupils and two teachers so everyone knew everyone and I can still recall many of them. There were few how I just couldn't remember, but luckily I had the names behind the picture (written in my poor handwriting I had then).

What I saw in that picture from my first grade? Memories. First there was the girls I looked up to, standing in the back as they were so tall. Now it feels odd to think that back then (age 7)  I admired those girls but they  were so nice and seemed to be so wise. Now, at age of 22, I would not respect that much some 12-years-old ones. The older I get the funnier it seems. I mean, the kids of today (and now I feel soooo old...). Then in that picture was the ones I have some bad memories about, which makes around half the school. There were the girls who were nice sometimes and other times just mean and boys who were almost never nice. That's a good difference between the boys and girls: I just knew that I could not trust those boys. Then of course sitting next to me was my best friend with shy smile on her face. And the guy I had crush for so many years smiles shyly too. But what amused me most was to look the boys who I can recall being most mean to me. The worst one looks like he got some s*** under his nose. The other one looks only innocent but mischievious. Then there is the one who just makes me giggle because he looks like Smeagol (even more in the picture from the second grade). And his brother who looks just like he had left his brains home but didn't realize it (the pictures which came after that one just prove it runs in their family, as his siblings had the same look so often).

And now I just can't recall why those people made my life miserable in some parts. I mean, they were just kids. But anyway I think it's good to change the view about them. After all, I have been laughing my a** off.
