Nature’s Furious Beauty
You’re random precision is true beauty,
You’re the best part of the storm,
Your luminescence lights up the darkest room,
And your noisy friend quiets the loudest music.
I could watch you all night and day,
The way you come on suddenly,
I gaze upon you more than the stars themselves,
Because you are exciting, less predictable.
You can make the whole city so dark,
While you light up the entire countryside,
You’re like a slow, giant strobe light,
But you carry less of a rhythm.
You’re nature’s fury and you know it,
And you’re not afraid to show it,
You’re the only light of my life,
No one can steal your precious thunder
You’re lightning and you’re here to stay.
