A bit of ranting around religion versus secularism
I’m not religious myself, but I do respect the fact that other people are. I think they are perfectly entitled to hold opinions that are different to mine (even if I might think that those ideas have absolutely no basis for belief whatsoever), so long as they are not doing or advocating harm as a result of the opinions they hold. I am really fed up of what seems to happening in this country where religion is seen as something almost deviant that needs to be stamped out. I really think the National Secular Society should get a life. Especially, seeing as this is the only one they believe they've got!
