I feel an update coming on....
Well, its been awhile and there are actually good things to tell so I thought I would post.
WEDDING STUFF: That is going slowly but surely. Jacob and I just found out that our official date is July 29th, 2006. We were originally thinking more like the end or middle of august, but my mom thought it would be better if we had a little more time to get settled before school started. Then the hall we wanted booked on our August dates so we decided just to push it back a little more. But I really like the reception hall so its worth it. I went dress shopping the other day and it was really fun! I want to go to a couple more places, but I really liked 3 of the dresses I found at David's. I think I would only go with a different place if it was cheaper. I also found some bridesmaid dresses that I liked. The next thing Jacob and I have to start looking for is a photographer and DJ. Those are the things that book up pretty quickly. We want to get a lot more done this summer though. YAY!
APARTMENT!!! I just found out the other day that, thanks to Kelly, we will be living in an apartment across the street from campus. I'll still have some of the campus rules, but it will be much, much better than the alternatives we were thinking would be offered. I'm excited to go shopping for apartment type things.
JOBS: Well, I lucked out for a summer job. My father had to fire someone from one of his stores so I had a ready-made full time job. Its nice because I have some responsibility which will be good practice in case I do end up wanting to open a franchise some day. I like it so far. I do have to go back to my old job and get the rest of my money that my manager didn't pay me for. JERK! Those kinds of things scare me, but its 30 freaking dollars and I'm trying to save for a wedding damn it! Jacob put in applications for some jobs around here with no luck so my dad has decided that Jacob is his personal assistant...this could be scary, but for now its working out.
