Okay, fuck my boss.
Saturday morning she says, "You have to do this and this and this and this by Monday morning or you and everybody at this store gets a 5 day suspension and probably fired. *subtext*but obviously I will not be supplying you with the equipment to do so easily, so it will take hours and hours and hours*subtext*"
So, Saturday night, normally the two of us at the store would be split up and the guy at my store (me, naturally) is doing a two-man job alone. She says she'll find somebody to work at the other store, so that we can both work that night and try to do all of that stuff, because she doesn't want us to get fired just because she scheduled us poorly. I get a call about an hour before the shift that says that she forgot to find anyone else, and I'm working alone. Good luck getting anything done.
She comes by Sunday morning, and tells me that it would be the same Sunday night, but she'll find somebody else for the other store so we can work together to get all of that done, and she's authorized us to get an hour of overtime to make up for the night before. ... but about five minutes ago I got a call from her saying that, and this is gonna BLOW YOUR MIND, she forgot to get anybody else, so we're gonna be strapped for time and unable to do anything again.
Set up for failure from the start, woohoo.
If I get suspended for this I'm calling up corporate and screaming their fucking ears off over it.
