(no subject)
It's been such a long time since I posted here. So much has happened. It's so crazy I can hardly comprehend it all at once.
Here are just some of the things that have happened since last posting...
-Second year university finished
-Me and Monkey paid for our tickets and are flying to Europe in 5 weeks
-Steph is leaving to Europe in a mere week or so
-Pat moved into an apartment in Collins St
-Stephen and Pat are working with me at NWC
-Tristan came back from the states
-Jess got a job (finally! :P)
-The film is almost finished and the screening is set for the 17th december at ACMI
-My doof doof clubbing cousin is staying with me for two weeks
-My birthday, Mishka's birthday, Richie's birthday, Tian's birthday and Christian's birthday are all coming up in the next fortnight or so
You get the drift.
Anyway, I just thought I'd sign in for a second to commemorate the insanity of everything happening at the moment. It wont be long before monkey and I are reading livejournal from amsterdam or somewhere. It wont be long before I'm 20... only one more day of teenagehood left!
But the other reason I wanted to post was to pay respects of some kind to Aidan, who as most of us know passed away recently. I can't claim to have known him well, but I wish I did know him, because from the amount of love-filled responses I have heard about him, he was obviously someone who meant an awful lot to a hell of a lot of people. Monkey, your recent tribute post was full of the dignity I am sure he deserves.
I don't mean for that to sound trite at all...words are a bit shithouse in times like these. Hell, words are a bit shithouse in a lot of times.
Anyhow, I hope you're all faring well and whatnot, ready for the summer.
