time flies...
Helloooo,
And how is everyone who still reads my livejournal? I'm doing well... and I can't believe the quarter is almost over already!!!
Where shall I start off from? Last saturday was the semi-formal. We went to Dick's for dinner (my decision,hehe) and then I went with dan to take a carload of balloon's to the hyatt in bellevue (where the dance was) because stefani was in charge of decorations and she couldn't take all 80-odd balloons in her car. It's funny how much trouble a bunch of air can be. Earlier that day three bags of the balloons slowly blew down our hallway and outside... then clustered in front of the guys apartment...which is where we blew them up. Stefani and I think they were just trying to get back to their birthplace. Anyway, after we got back from the balloon drop off, we all proceeded to get ready, and I pressured people to drink, haha. Once we got to the dance, we found stefani and took pictures and then went out to the dance floor. And then the dance floor cleared away until I was just in the middle of it, bustin innovative dance move after dance move while everyone else cheered. Ok that didn't happen. But I did dance in my own extra special way, and that was pretty fun :) One of my favorite moments would have to be when stefani and I were the only non-couple on the dance floor trying to sway to the slow songs and serenading the guys, as they watched us from the balcony (because it was so ridiculous and funny). We thoroughly embarrassed joram by trying to incorporate hop-scotch (not entirely on the beat) into our dance routine while we were on the balcony. After we got back, stefani, joram and I played a thrilling round of pictionary and we all watched Top Gun (me stefani joram kristen and seth)... until we started to fall asleep and had to go to bed around 4am.
Sunday I went to Bucca di Beppos with kerry and caitlin and alexa. It was great to hang out with the highschool gang like old times!!! We had so much fun... being our crazy selves and eatin a lot of food, what else can you ask for?
And then the schoolweek began... it was all a blur of studying and tiredness and hilarious moments a the writing center and watching reality shows on tv.
One night... perhaps it was tuesday, stefani and joram and i went to the cheesecake factory for dinner (becuz i didn't have enough mom meals to last me through the week)... mmmm....cheesecake.
On Thursday, stefani (with my meager assistance) made a japanese meal for us... then we played Outburst and then eventually decided to go to krispy kreme's for doughnuts, haha. mmmm... doughnuts.
Yesterday (friday)... we went out to dinner at the food court at north gate.. well we were going to red robin but the wait was too long. Then we went to see Return of the King again (even though we'd all seen it before) at the cinerama. Then we had our "afterparty", which was much like everytime we say we're having an afterparty to an event... it consisted of us sitting around watching tv, and then we put in "spirited away" and brought out our blankets and pillows.
My Belgian friend, Yannick called me today from Germany. It was great to hear from him, but it made me sad at the same time. And my Australian friends had their orientation last week... meaning they were out partying together all week...wish I could've been there... but been here at the same time.
Ok, it's time to go home and see my kitties! :) Hee hee. I'll update again soon.......don't be strangers!!!!
