Christmas.
Well, I had a great Christmas with the family. At the family party Aunt Anne found OLD (like...40's, 50's and 60's old) family videos that no one had seen. No sound. Many in black and white.
It was amazing to see my mom and my aunt and uncles when they were little. And my mom in that pageant, even if it was just a shot of her on a float waving. I've heard so many stories, but really, it's not until you SEE videos, not just pictures that you really believe them. GOD I LOVE HISTORY AND OLD STUFF.
It was a wonderful celebration, I got a good wine buzz, the family was literally rolling over these videos, and now, hours later, I sit in my room at 2 in the morning feeling lonelier and emptier than ever.
I guess a bunch of the feelings I've been repressing have finally got in the way.
God I hope things turn around soon.
