Before St Valentine's Day, the Romans had a festival called Lupercalia. A tradition of this festival was a lottery where young men would draw the names of girls out of a box or some other such thing, and the girl they picked would be their lover. Yeah, I don't usually work on Tuesdays but Zach has a date. He says.

The special is Lover's Lager. It's just red-tinted lager with pinkish foam. First pint's on me.

I suspect a free, pink lager isn't much incentive when you're used to people buying your drinks for you anyway.

Although I suppose one could get away with it if they were taken and fabulous, so long as they didn't let on.
