I don't think I've ever been so dead bored as I was the other night. The ice sculptures Transfiguring was amusing for all of two minutes, but then it was back to dull and duller. There appeared to be a bit of a scuffle at one of the tables after that, and thankfully my escort managed to not get himself arrested this time.

The only advantage is that Mum's so chuffed that my presence got her name into the society column that she's bound to leave me alone for a while.
