Self-care Saturday
I bought some more Delta 8 gummies from Binoid; I've been out for a while and mostly taking either the THC tablets (still have plenty of those sirena73, I haven't even taken the shrink wrap off the 2nd box) or Delta 11 gummies. I like to have a variety, because they all feel slightly different. The THC is supposedly indica, although to me it feels more like a hybrid. The Delta 8 feels like sativa. And the Delta 11 is very indica, to the point where the last hour before I finally turn in always feels like a battle to keep my eyes open. Sometimes I just give up and lay down and listen to music for a while before going to bed.
The purchase went through fine and I got an email this morning they'd shipped, so whatever "law" against CBD and Delta 8 that Troposphere Vapes was yelling about either hasn't gone into effect--and according to their original email it was supposed to be July 1st--or was a product of their imagination. I've bought lots of full spectrum CBD oil from Aromatic Infusions, so I'd expect to get some communication from them if this was real. Instead I've only gotten emails hyping their CBD oil, with photos of staff standing in fields of hemp plants. *shrug*
I went back to Michael's and bought the floss I needed for my next cross stitch project. I also bought some extra bobbins and a couple of cases, because I decided my Labor Day project was going to be finally organizing my floss stash, which at the moment is still in a pile on the other twin bed. Should I organize them numerically or by color?
Rouses' had cases of beer on sale and I bought myself one of Blue Moon. I don't think I've had beer since the last time I went to the condo, in May.
I made toast and eggs for breakfast this morning as usual, but I made them a little different/more fun than usual. This was an idea I saw on TikTok:
You put a Babybel cheese (although you could use any cheese, it's just that those are round so it works out the best) in between the bread slices before you punch out the circles to make eggs in a basket, and you have a little grilled cheese to dip in your yolks. It was yummy and the 'rents seemed to enjoy it, especially Phil. The man loves a grilled cheese and usually only gets them for lunch.
