Also called "Freya's Tears", it's often mistakenly attributed to Gustav Klimt. It's actually by Anne-Marie Zilberman, who was consciously trying to create a work in the style of Klimt, so it's an error honestly arrived at. She used gold leaf.
I was going to accent the tears with some golden seed beads, but when I saw how bright the gold thread was--and it's much brighter than it photographed--it kind of seemed like gilding the lily.
