I got my hair cut, and made my next appointment for the week I go to Alabama next month. I always like having a fresh haircut when I go on vacation.
I accumulated enough points at Aromatic Infusions for the $10 discount (mostly through writing reviews for the website), so I went there and bought more CBD oil. I was nearly out, anyway; that's the most expensive thing I buy there so I always try to time my accumulation of points to getting low on it. (Recent experimentation in alternate cannabinoids aside, full spectrum CBD oil is still the main tool in my toolbox for battling the restless legs that causes most of my insomnia.)
They're also having a 35% off all essential oils through Labor Day, so I got some geranium oil. The bottle I have has maybe a half dozen drops left in it.
Most meteorologists have dialed back their predictions for the rest of hurricane season, since we went all of August without a single named storm. (Danielle is wandering around the Atlantic, but not expected to make landfall anywhere.) I could do without the weird undertone of disappointment that came with that announcement. Those of us on Gulf and Atlantic coastlines are just fine with a quiet season, thanks.
Tonight I guess I'll watch the first two episodes of Amazon's Lord of the Rings boondoggle. (I don't remember exactly what it's called and I can't be arsed to Google it.) I'm curious so see what a kajillion dollars an episode looks like.
Here's a photo I took in Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans:
