That's what I call a good day off - Prokoviev's Romeo and Juliet in the afternoon (AND I had the best seat in the house) followed by lemon pie and coffee in the sun outside Double Dutch. I consider myself adequately treated after two very stressful weeks. Prokofiev is a magician. The music is immensely powerful and the Scottish Ballet's dancing well up to the mark - especially after the deaths of Mercutio and Tybalt. Claire Robertson (Juliet's mum) has such class. I cried buckets - of course.
