I have a job interview tomorrow, doing administrative work at an insurance office. A real, respectable job -- how about that? I spoke to a man named Kevin on the phone about it, and he seemed genuinely excited to meet up with me, so here's hoping.

Mark, Brian and I went up to the mountains with an assortment of dogs yesterday and ate mushrooms. It was such an incredible experience! Tripping is fun regardless of where you are, but it was the first time I've done it in such a beautiful environment, and it made all the difference. I could feel the energy of the mountaintop flowing throughout me, I could see the clouds swirl through the sky in fast-forward speed, I could hear the water from the nearby river echoing in my head and whispering secrets to me. It was warm and sunny and beautiful, and I couldn't have imagined a better way to spend my day off. I took a few photos of the scenery, but I was tripping so hard my hands were having trouble operating the camera (when I could even recognize it as a camera, that is), so we'll see how they turn out. If they're any good, I'll post them soon.

And now...more photos. These are a random conglomeration of the last week and a half or so.

The first three photos are of a little creek by Mark's house that I finally photographed. I really liked the lighting.

Another one from Horsetooth Reservoir:

Here's Mark, Bubba and Bella climbing trees:

Some sidewalk art I found at an elementary school:

And last, but not least, a black-and-white of Brian napping in the sun. I love how peaceful and angelic he looks...ha! :)
