You know the kids are aware of different cultures and other people, on top of having a Language disadvantage when they do this:
They have a homework assignment with the hights of different students in a 9th grade class. They are to use the data to find mean, median and mode.
They were asked "Why are these not good values to use as average heights for the class? Think of two reasons why they do not make good averages"
To which this German student wrote: *All of them have different ages, genders and from different countries. *All of them have different DNA.
