Today in the staff room I overheard some teachers discussing superstitions and the Mexixan culture's response to them. But this was only because in English the students are reading a book dealing with superstitions and the English teacher was asking the ESL teacher (who is mexican, I think) about them. Sounds like your adventure with K should be "very European"... just go and find accommodations as you travel. I hope you have time Sunday to post an entry about all the fun!

I would love to know the story behind the red staff room... sounds like a crisis room to me. Add some padding and they'll be all set :-)

Too bad the night class was full. Can you be put on a waiting list if someone drops out? Probably best to do the German during Janterm... just concentrate on the math. What levels will you end up with?

PS The bionic g'ma is doing better each day...

From the outside, it looks like a red box floating. As you can see in the picture, the walls are not 90 degrees either. They are pushed out at the top. This is how it is inside as well, all the way around the room. It's a cool room, and the paint on the outside gives it its name ( ... )

I really like how colorful the walls are. Hopefully you have a chance to sit back and enjoy how much fun a colorful wall can be. I hope you have a wonderful time in Meersburg. It looks like a wonderful location on google earth. I am very jealous of being able to up and go somewhere on a whim. Have a blast.

Pass my regards onto the bionic g'ma for me.

HEHEHE, ok, I will do that, I suppose.

It truely is a wonderful thing to do, just up and travel. And only 25 Euros for the weekend at that (there is a plan that is 25 euros for up to 5 people to travel with the train anywhere in Badden-Wurtemburg from 0:00-3:00 the next day. K and I think next time to just leave early and come back late and not get a hotel room.
