I made a tie in just over an hour the other day.
It's constructed with off-cuts from my tomoyo cosplay and satin stars. There is also brightly coloured stitching. It served it's intended purpose and has been returned to me.
I may actually wear it.
It was a surprise as events have generally transpired to stop me sewing, but I prefer these events, so I'm not actually complaining.
The week has been filled with hugs, peep show, green wing, lost, hellsing, geekery and good food. Don't forget the warcraft.
Never forget that.
I wish every week could be like the last one and may explain my bout of crushing woefulness.
But there is no time for that.
Not at all.
I have an open day to attend on Thursday, the outcome of which may lead me onto some professional training and god forbid, a proper job.
This pleases me and also terrifise me more than I would care to admit.
In a strange way though, the tie loans me little bits of confidence.
I'll look at it more maybe and discern it's dark secrets.

Now, then.
