Regardless of, you know, sanity, I've decided to try out for the Carolina Rollergirls (the #3 team in the country!) in July. Last night, I strapped (rental) skates on my feet for the first time in about twenty-five years and tooled around at the roller rink. uninhabited for 2 years.
has/had multiple flower beds and 3 3.5'x7' raised beds.

oh dear lord. rent a gas powered tiller and a team of midgets. i do not envy the position you're in. we sort of semi-dealt with that sort of situation when we moved down here, but the problem was the inside of the house, mostly... we were under the impression that the kitchen floor was taupe and brown when we initially moved in. then i discovered how so very wrong, wrong, wrong we were.

is the inside under control? or is it an all around fixer upper?

i killed a brand new swiffer duster thingie in like, one swath across the closet shelf.

the previous owner ripped up the carpet in the living room, exposing the hardwood floors.. in horrendous condition.

i've actually made a lot of pictures.. i need to take/ post some pics before the boy leaves town and takes his camera with him
