6 -- Introspective

I've fallen into a routine now, around the mansion. Very different from the one I was creating at home, where the sun never changed, and someone always seemed to need my help. Here, except for the strange occurences that don't seem to happen that often, I'm left on my own. It's been nice to sleep, but I do miss my mother and the other lionesses. I

Is there something strange about that? I'm guessing you've run into Scar as well. We're from the same home, actually. All of the animals can speak to each other there.

I'm sorry but this is the first time I came across with talking animals! It's fantastic.

I didn't catch his name yet, but he has a scar. He must be the one! He didn't appear too happy about my remark either.

Really? It's normal where I'm from. But I've never seen a human before either. This place has been very different for me. Don't mind him. That's just...the way he always acts. I'm just glad he hasn't tried to hurt anyone yet.

It must be a magical place if everyone talks! I'm used to that cold treatment. Don't worry.

Magical? It's possible. There are so many people here who can do things I've never seen before. I still don't know what kind of place this is, after all.

Ah! I have noticed that people here have "powers." It makes me feel so mundane.

Powers, and skills, and experiences that are all new to me. I think I'm as lost as you, really.

Mundane? Less mundane than me, I think. I'm not any different from my sisters and aunts and cousins in the Pride. Everyone here seems surprised that I can speak...but it isn't anything special, really.
