Places I've Travelled...
Was reading a close fren's blog and she was listing all the places shes travelled to so far since she graduated...mostly exotic lyk Nepal...Sri Lanka (*Envy!!! & Mind you...she travelled solo!!!) etc & it inspired me to do the same :)
( PS: Not counting the places I've travelled as part of my job coz tts for work -_- & my list includes all the places I've been to in my 28 years of existence)
And here we go!!!
1. Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Port Dickson, Johor, Pulau Tioman,Pulau Redang,Langkawi,Genting Highlands (Malaysia)
2. Bali, Batam, Bintan (Indonesia)
3. Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi Thailand)
4. Taipei, Hua-Lien (Taiwan)
5. Hong Kong, Macau (China?)
6. Athens, Santorini (Greece) --> Best Holidays Ever!!!
7. Salzburg (Austria)
8. Venice (Italy)
9. Akaroa (New Zealand)
10. Jungfrajoch (Switzerland?)
Okies I half cheated on the last 4 but only becoz I went sightseeing in my free time as part of my layover outstation for my work & to make my list more impressive coz sadly to say...thats how far my list goes (till #6) -_- (My fren has a whopping 11 !!! Almost double of mine)...With the exceptions of Athens...I've only been to SEA countries...yeah I noe...such a waste of my annual free tix and hospitality privileges as a crew...But hard to find travel kakis u noe...especially to travel on the airline I work for which charges premium prices *sighs* & my leave gotta plan waaayyyyy in advance...lyk a year in advanced...so tts kinda hard...
Perhaps Layhoon is right...I work so hard I shld reward myself & travel!!! I've alwiz admired frenz especially gals who can travel alone...After all tis years of flying...I simply haven learn true independence...I dun lyk to be alone...I'll feel lost..insecure & panicky...I dun lyk reading maps...& I'm extremely gullible...Wad if I got lost???...Or worst till run into bad thugs??? (My robbery experience 2 yrs ago din do any good)...So I dun haf the guts to travel alone...the closest solo experience I've had was 2 yrs ago post-break-up...I traveled Taipei-Macau-Hong Kong kinda alone (I was alone on all flts but my fren met me in Macau when hes supposed to meet me in TPE but miscomm so I ended up alone in TPE for 2 Nights)...& for tt I felt extremely proud of myself already!!! LoLx
Sumtimes when my SiStAs & Gang tok abt their travel experiences..I really envy them...y cant I be lyk them? & to go wif them I felt the guilt of leaving my Bf behind...I so wanna travel wif him but being a student himself there are some constraints...schedules...$$$...so its an internal tug of war...But he alwiz told me...We'll haf a lifetime to travel together so I take alil comfort in tt :)
