I think too much...
I feel like everyone is growing up to fast these days and not enjoying being young while they can. Especially my little brother who really isnt so little anymore. It's incredibly scary.
France is going pretty well. I'm having fun, and enjoying being here and living with my host family and meeting all the great CIEF kids. I am not enjoying the battle that has started with Claire M-F over the lies she told and all the times she mislead me and Court about the CIEF program. At least now she is paying for the penalty for me to change my flight, but after I'm done with her, hopefully that won't be everything. she screwed up a lot here and its a pain in the ass for everything now.
Random France observations:
~The street cleaners that like hose down the streets with these big truck things only come out after it rains...which is just about every day here. Im hoping that its only for a little longer and springtime will be a lot nicer.
~There is dog poo everywhere despite the convenient placement of bags and trashcans just for that purpose all around the city. This is a france thing though and Im not sure all of it in Paris was from dogs...
~When crossing the road, you should run, even if the car is really far down the road. This is because the cars and trucks and BUSSES seem to speed up when they see you. it seems like a game to them or something.
~mixing black and brown is okay here, but it still males me cringe. Although, maybe my dad should move to france. As concerned as they are about fashion here, I dont think there really is such a thing as a fashion faux-pas.
On a side note, my stomach is killing me right now. Well, its not even really my stomach, its more like my abdomen and only on the right side. I couldnt sleep because it hurt so bad, but its not like I can to go the doctors here... And I think its making me sick too because I now have a headache and I feel just overall really crappy. Maybe its because all I eat is potaotes and cheese... I am going to be so fat when I get home. not kidding.
