A/N: Baby!Minnie AU, at the beginning of their relationship in high school :)
“Kyuhyun, you seriously can’t be this nervous about going on a date. It’s not like it’s the first time you’ve ever gone out or something,” Hyukjae said with a snort, lounging on Kyuhyun’s bed as he watched him fret over which sweater vest would look best with his new glasses, “and if you’re trying to look sexy, I would burn about half of your wardrobe.”
“Yah! I never asked for the help of a stupid monkey. You’re the one that followed me over here,” Kyuhyun snapped, turning his head to more effectively glare at said man.
“Besides, Mi said that he likes the way I dress.”
“Just because he likes it doesn’t mean it’s going to make him want to fuck you. I mean, come on. You look like someone’s grandpa in those things,” Hyukjae replied, rolling his eyes as he swung his feet over the side of his bed and made his way towards Kyuhyun’s sad excuse for a closet. How many shades of brown could one person own?
“I never said I wanted him to fuck me!” Kyuhyun yelped, trying to ignore the way that his voice cracked and his face turned about ten shades darker. Weren’t hyungs supposed to be helpful?
“You didn’t have to say it. And who fucks who isn’t the problem. Your boner-killing clothes are,” the blond retorted, ducking just in time to avoid a rather well placed punch, “if you want to get laid, you can’t look simultaneously like a kindergartener and a librarian.”
Kyuhyun tries to protest once more, but is silenced by Hyukjae’s hand and a look that leaves no room for arguing. Maybe it really was his choice in clothing’s fault that he hadn’t gotten much farther than a few heated make-out sessions with a certain lanky redhead. It was hard for him to initiate much more than holding hands or a simple peck on the lips when his brain decided to short circuit from a stupidly pretty smile in his direction. But they had been together for almost six months now; wasn’t it about time things moved forward?
“Here, wear this. And don’t argue with me.” Kyuhyun was snapped out of his reverie by a stack of clothing being shoved in his direction. “And put your contacts in, for god’s sake.”
“What’s wrong with my glasses?” Kyuhyun growled from behind his bathroom door, but decided that putting the clothes on would be better than listening to a bitching primate. He wouldn’t admit it, but seeing how often Donghae was all over Hyukjae made him think that maybe changing wouldn’t be so bad. What was the worst that could happen?
“Stop complaining and do it. I don’t care if he says that he likes them. Unless he has some sort of fetish, you’re not wearing them.” Hyukjae couldn’t help but sigh as he continued to sift through the endless pairs of chinos and khakis hanging in his best friend’s closet. Did he not realize he was seventeen, not seventy?
“I seriously can’t go like this. He’s just going to laugh at me,” Kyuhyun groaned as he pulled open the door and took a few steps to his mirror, “I look ridiculous.”
“No, bowties and thick-rimmed glassed make you look ridiculous. This is much better and makes you look your actual age. You know, aside from the fact that you tucked in a t-shirt,” Hyukjae chortled, stepping forward to tug the knit material free from the waistband of his friend’s jeans. “You can actually see the shape of your ass.”
Kyuhyun never really understood why he put up with so much from him.

“I’ll see you soon then, Kui Xian,” an overly happy voice chirped from the other end of the phone, having no idea the effect it was having on the other man.
Kyuhyun was sure that the trip to Zhou Mi’s house had never been that quick before. He was already usually a flustered mess around his boyfriend, so Hyukjae’s choice of a t-shirt, jeans, and a blazer was doing nothing to keep him in his comfort zone.
When the doorbell sounded and a stylishly dressed man opened the door, Kyuhyun found himself shifting awkwardly in place. It really was stupid how easily a simple look could turn reduce him to such a state, not to mention unfair.
“H-hey, Mi,” Kyuhyun stuttered, taken aback when Zhou Mi didn’t say anything. It was just as bad as he thought; he looked ridiculous and Zhou Mi was going to start laughing at him any minute now.
“I didn’t know you owned anything like this, Kui Xian.” There was a glint in Zhou Mi’s eye that Kyuhyun managed to miss. His own shoes were far more interesting, after all.
“I… Yeah. Hyukjae-hyung convinced me to wear this. I-I’ll go home and change. I look stupid,” Kyuhyun mumbled, eyes darting up to Mi’s face for just a moment before turning his head to look away. He tried to take a step, but was immediately pulled back against a rather bony chest.
“Now why would you do that?” Zhou Mi’s breath was hot against the shell of his ear, and Kyuhyun couldn’t come up with an excuse to save his life. “My parents are gone for the night and we can order in, if you’d like.”
Kyuhyun found himself nodding dumbly when those lips started to trail soft kisses down his neck. Well that was definitely something new.
As was being pressed into the couch with a gorgeous Chinese man straddling his thighs, but Kyuhyun wasn’t going to complain about something as amazing as that. Especially when willowy fingers wound themselves into his unruly mop of brown locks in a rather possessive manner.
“M-Mi… I…” Kyuhyun was sure that he wasn’t going to be able to form coherent sentences, but this was just ridiculous. Zhou Mi was such a good kisser and this dominant streak was doing nothing for his rapid heart beat.
“You just look so sexy, Kui Xian,” Zhou Mi replied breathlessly, eyes clouded and cheeks tinted a pretty shade of pink. It was the same look that had invaded Kyuhyun’s fantasies for months now, and a soft whimper left his lips before he could stop it.
“You’re cute in your sweaters and bowties, but this…I don’t know if I can keep my hands to myself. B-but if you want, I’ll stop.”
“No, don’t stop. I just- I get all stupid around you and my brain doesn’t function properly,” Kyuhyun replied, voice barely above a whisper and cheeks burning in embarrassment.
The last thing he expects is the soft giggle Zhou Mi emits before he leans in for another kiss. It made him a little nervous, but when Mi pressed his palm against the prominent bulge in the front of his jeans, any and all coherent thought left him once more.
“Let me help you,” Mi purred, body gliding down between Kyuhyun’s thighs effortlessly and landing on his knees. The predatory look in his eyes had Kyuhyun swallowing harshly. He somehow knew that there was a side like this to his boyfriend (or at least, he had hoped), but this was his first time experiencing it outside of his own thoughts. Real life was so much better.
“I- that…you. You don’t have to!” Kyuhyun squeaked as the button of his pants was popped open and he felt his jeans and underwear being pulled down his legs. This certainly wasn’t where he imagined things to go.
“Shh. I want to, so just relax, baobei,” Mi cooed, yanking his boyfriend’s pants down the rest of the way to his ankles. A slightly devilish grin came over those pretty features, and Kyuhyun forgot how to breathe when that look was directed at him while Mi licked a long wet stripe up his cock.
He couldn’t even begin to count how many times he had gotten himself off to this same scenario, but there was no way that they could even begin to compare to the real thing. Zhou Mi’s mouth was warm and wet, and so much better than anything Kyuhyun had experienced before. And that thing that he was doing with his tongue was enough to have the younger of the two whimpering and holding carefully to Mi’s perfectly coiffed hair. A little tug after he watches his boyfriend swallow him whole has Mi moaning right along with him.
“M-Mi…st-stop or I…” The rest of Kyuhyun’s words catch in his throat when Zhou Mi looks directly at him, lips red and perfectly stretched around him. Kyuhyun swears he sees him grin before setting back to work with even more enthusiasm than before, humming softly against him. He never would have guessed that there was someone like this hiding behind all of those sunshine smiles and designer clothes.
Kyuhyun’s head falls back, and he normally would have been embarrassed by the needy, debauched sound that left his throat or even how quickly he was brought over the edge, but it just seemed silly. The sight of Zhou Mi swallowing everything greedily before pulling back to smile happily at him, a trace of white at the corner of his mouth seemed like a huge contradiction - but then again, Mi was a complete contradiction just on his own, so it was rather fitting.
“I…that…,” Kyuhyun tried, words coming out as pants. If anyone would have told him that he would be here doing something like this with the prettiest boy in school months ago, he probably would have kicked them. It was like he was living a very long dream.
“Wow.”
Kyuhyun watches Zhou Mi tugging his pants up with a rather dazed look on his face, and is rather surprised when he finds the taller boy on his lap, kissing his cheek.
“You’re so pretty, Kui Xian,” Zhou Mi sighs, and Kyuhyun can feel his smile against his neck. When he pulls back to look at Kyuhyun, the younger is surprised to see a flush matching his own decorating Mi’s cheeks, “I’ve wanted to do that for so long. B-but more than that, I’ve wanted to tell you something.”
Kyuhyun just nods dumbly, hands finding purchase on Zhou Mi’s bony hips.
“I love you, Kui Xian,” Mi blurted out, looking as if he had been holding his breath, afraid to hear Kyuhyun’s response.
“Y-you do?” Kyuhyun stuttered dumbly, eyes growing as wide as saucers. Somehow he couldn’t believe that someone as pretty, as perfect as Zhou Mi could love an awkward video game nerd like him. It went against the laws of physics or something.
“I wouldn’t say it just to tease you. I’m not mean like Heechul-hyung,” Mi replied with a pout, crossing his arms over his chest much like a child would. Kyuhyun definitely thought it was cute.
“I know Mi, I know. It’s just… I’ve had a crush on you for such a long time that it’s a little hard to believe that you would want to be with me, let alone l-love me,” Kyuhyun explained with a shy smile, pulling Mi’s hands down and holding them in his own, “I love you too, Mi.”
All of the smiles he had seen coming from Zhou Mi paled in comparison to the one that erupted over his face from that confession. Sunshine and puppies had nothing on him.
“I hope your parents won’t be upset when you don’t come home tonight,” Mi said with a sly little smile, hoping that Kyuhyun would take the hint.
“Not coming home to- oh,” Kyuhyun took a moment to realize the invitation that he was being given, but grinned when his boyfriend wiggled on his lap, “I’m sure they won’t mind. I’ll just tell them I’m staying at Hyukjae’s or something. He owes me.”
“I might have to thank him, then,” Mi giggled, climbing off of him in a slightly awkward manner and turning to look at Kyuhyun over his shoulder, “let me give you a tour.”
The wink and grin he shot in Kyuhyun’s direction had him practically throwing himself off the sofa in an effort to follow him up the stairs.
“I have something very interesting to show you.”
Very interesting indeed.
