no rainbows
so last night i went to the parish on 6th street to see deadboy and the elephantmen. i used all of my nickels and dimes to go, but i was still a quarter short. a man stopped us on our way to the concert and asked if we'd sell him a cigarette for a quarter. it was kind of silly how it all worked. hacienda opened. i've never heard of them, but they were really good live. deadboy and the elephantmen is possibly one of the best shows i've ever been to in my life. the singer is dax higgs, from acid bath, he's only like 22. very young. it's only a two member band, dax on the guitar and then a chick drummer. what an amazing duo. i have never heard anyone sound so good live. his voice + the incredibly hot drummer could possibly make up the sexiest band i've ever seen. goodness it was a great night. everyone needs to buy deadboy and the elephant men-we are night sky. or get it from me. it'll rock you. the best part about this: i get to see them in chicago during lollapalooza! wheeee.
