(no subject)
last night i got re-acquainted with creek drank the cradle by iron and wine. and let me tell you, if you have never really listened to this album..do it. it's my favorite record. of all time. i'm serious. it's my favorite favorite thing. it makes me so sad. i think it's because that record reminds me of spring, and winter has been getting me down. it also kind of reminds me of a life that i really really want. it's hard to explain that though...so i'm not. but it's extremely good.
i've also realized that if i could write or play or sing worth a damn, i'd probably end up writing something that sounded like spirit, jewel's only good record. that sounds so corny. but i remember listening to that cd when i was like 13 and i had no idea what the hell she was talking about, but it just felt so good to sing along to it.
