Good god, I saw that stupid meme blow up in a matter of hours. Leave it to Buzzfeed to help make something stupid into a viral posting. There's a simple scientific explanation regarding the differences in our eyes and how they perceive color and shadows, that's it. But everyone wants to freak out over this without regarding the truth. I guess I'm adding to that, too! (not sorry) I, for the record, considered it lavender/poop brown, or basically white/gold. I'm beginning to wonder if the mere suggestion of the dress being blue/black has effectively brainwashed a huge number of people. The power of persuasion, indeed.
