A look can say a lot! Mary's heart ached when she saw Jesus carrying his cross, yet she was helpless to end his pain. As their eyes met, each sent an unspoken message of love and encouragement to the other. You too can look at others to accept and encourage or to reject and discourage them. The new kid at school, the elderly person on the street, each need a look of encouragement and acceptance. You can give it to them.
You have two choices when you stumble and fall to give up and quit or to get up and begin again. Weakened by mental and physical torture, Jesus fell under the weight of the cross. You, too, may be feeling the weight of a burden. You may study till you drop, but still fail the test. Or try to be the "perfect" person, only to have your parents find fault. You could allow yourself to believe that you are a hopeless failure. But Jesus challenges you to get up. Nothing kept Jesus down long and you are called to follow him!
Not only can you be single, sometimes you should be. If you want to find love, you need to get to know yourself before you get to know anyone else. Otherwise, you may try to find your identity in boys. Being single has its purpose. It frees you to set your goals and dreams in life, so that you know what your passion is, and how you want to improve the world. It opens your eyes to the fact that being single does not mean being alone, because you can learn to live for others. So do not be afraid to purposely take time off from the relationship scene. Besides, it makes you more attractive because you are independent…If you feel lonely, turn to God and “cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you” (1Peter 5:7). Trust God with your heart and with your body. It is only when you are satisfied with His love that you will be able to receive the love He has planned for you.

Intense love does not measure, it just gives. -Mother Teresa
Do not think that love, in order to be genuine, has to be extraordinary. What we need is to love without getting tired. -Mother Teresa
Let us always meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love. -Mother Teresa
[A couple] would be much closer if they entrusted their relationship to God, and made sacrifices together to glorify Him. Love always involves struggle, so if they are both willingto be generous with God, this will create a union between their hearts that no illicitpleasure can match. Purity will become their superglue. -Jason Evert, If You Really Loved Me
