i am in strong denial of the snow outside right now.
which is why im wearing flip flops.
i really really just want summer to be here. hey everybody, i just had a great idea. let's all go to hawaii, or brazil, somewhere where its always warm how does that sound? laying on the beach all day, feeling the sun on our faces, the ocean tickling our toes, just relaxing with a cold drink and some good friends. when the sun goes down we'll have a huge bonfire in the sand. somebody will bring out the guitar, and we'll all sit around and listen to the chords and the waves until we fall asleep. in the morning we'll all go to a little family restaurant for the kind of breakfast you can only get at one of those places - maybe not the best you've ever had, but made just like mama used to. we'll go eat ice cream on the boardwalk and watch the sun rise over the water. maybe we'll even go sailing, or learn to surf. we'll go dancing one night, and stay out until the sun comes up again. or maybe we'll just pop in a sinatra cd and slow dance in the surf beneath the stars. we'll have fun going to all the little beachside shops, buying outrageous hats and taking pictures in grass skirts. we'll amass the largest shell collection anybody has ever seen. we'll go snorkeling, scuba diving, and play sand volleyball with complete strangers. we will kick ass in the sand sculpture contest. well, what do you think? sounds like a party to me.
