Saturday!
Hey everyone! I'm sorry it's been so long since I updated but It's only been a week since I got back from Florida and I've been getting ready for school. But now I'll tell you all about my awesome vacation! Be warned: I will now describe every event of the trip in great detail so if you don't like reading TURN AWAY NOW!
Monday- So Monday morning I got up really early and went over to Kaite's house at like eight. Then as soon as her mom's friend Dan came, we all drove to the airport. Of course we had to stop at Dunkin Donuts for Kaite and then we got on the plane. The plane ride was horrible!!!! I got sooooo sick! I thought I was gonna be fine and then as soon as the plane took off I got super pale and dizzy! Kaite was like freaking out, I felt so bad. So then we finally landed in Orlando and got on a bus that would take us to the hotel. Of course we get this crazy bus driver who made me sicker than I already was! We finally got to the Carribean Beach resort which was such a nice hotel! It had all these trees and like seven pools and it was so pretty. So we checked in and hung out in our rooms for a little while to rest and get ready. Then we went to Magic Kingdom which was fun except it started raining but we only went to shop. And then we went to Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner! It's a restaurant right inside Cinderella's castle. While we were waiting, Belle came to the castle and me and Kaite got a picture with her which was like the highlight of my life! So we finally get into the restaurant and it's really nice and it was night so everything outside was all lit up and everything. So we get to our table and look at the menus and everything on the menu is like the fanciest foods i've ever heard of. There was like fish and we'rd pasta and there were no burgers or fries to be seen. Poor Kaite got this chicken thing that came over asparagus and bread pudding and she ate like two bites of it! But the desserts were good and Kaite got this white chocolate slipper that looked really cool. After dinner we went back to the hotel cause we were so tired!
Tuesday- So on Tuesday we got up super early ( aka 8:30 ) and had breakfast at the food court where Kaite and I discovered MICKEY WAFFLES!!!!! They were so cool and I'm pretty sure Kaite tried every one of them. So then we went to Epcot where we went on the Test Track which was so cool! That was like my favorite ride of the whole trip! And we also went on Soarin which was a cool simulation ride. Then we went back to the hotel for a little while and headed to MGM. MGM was fun but we didn't have time to go on the rides that night because we had reservations at the Sci-Fi Thearter which was so awesome! It was set up like a drive in movie theater and for the tables you sat in cars and there was a big movie screen with old movies playing and everything! So of course Kaite and I figure it'll be all burgers and fries and stiff right?! No!!! Again we are stuck with fish and stuff but this restaurant wasn't as bad. They had like this chicken sandwich and the best cheese spinach dip I've ever had!!!! It was so cool inside though. And our waiter was so funny cause he kept hitting on Kaite and it was hilarious!
Wednesday- On wednesday we ended up getting up a little late because we were so exhausted but after breakfast we went to the Animal Kingdom. The Animal Kingdom was really cool cause there were animals everywhere and all these exotic birds and stiff. Then we went on this water ride which was nice since it was so hot and this dinosaur roller coaster which was really fun. So we decided to leave and of course the minute we reach the bus area it starts pouring rain! When we got back to the hotel it was nice out again so we all went swimming in the pool. After we went to Downtown Disney and had dinner at Planet Hollywood which was sooo good cause we could finally have burgers!!! Then we just went to all the little shops there which had super cute stuff and then went back to the hotel to swim some more!
Thursday- Tuesday we started the morning off at MGM where we did all the cool rides. First we did the Rockin Roller Coaster which was my first upside down roller coaster ever! It was so much fun too! Then we went on the Tower of Terror which was the scariest ride ever! Omg, me and kaite screamed the entire time, we could barely talk when we got off the ride. We went on a few more rides and did some shopping and then went back to the hotel. That night we went to Epcot to go through all of the countries. That was so much fun! Of course we went to great Britain for Kaite and I went to this store to get my Dad a Beatles lunch box. So the sales guy who was of course British comes and over and is like " They used to have lunch boxes like that in the 60's and 70's " and when he said 60's and 70's he did this shimmy thing and me and kaite thought we were gonna die laughing! Then we went on this Norwegian boat ride which was pretty good. Then we stayed in Norway to see the Illuminations show which was so awesome! That was like my favorite thing of the trip! It was this big fireworks show and this globe floats out to the middle of the lake and opens and up and fire comes from it and it's just too cool! So then we were all starving so we went to this food court and got burgers and stuff. Then we went back to the hotel and completely crashed.
Friday- Friday was our last day so we went back to Magic Kingdom to go on the good rides like Space Mountain and The Haunted Mansion. Then we waited in line for Splash Mountain forever but it was so worth it. It started raining right as we got on the ride so we got soaked before we even went down the mountain! But then we went to see our picture that they take when you go down and the british guy in front of us had the funniest face I've ever seen! Then we went back to the hotel to get some lunch. So I went to get some chicken fingers and they guy at the food court was foreign, I don't know where he was from, and he was like staring at me when i ordered and he was like "very good choice" when I ordered. Then Dan came up and ordered a chili dog and they guy kept looking at me when he was talking to Dan! It was so funny! The Disney workers just loved me and kaite! So then we went to Downtown Disney again to have dinner at The Wolfgang Puck Cafe which was really good and we got to have fondue for dessert! It was so good and it came with homemade blue marshmallows! Then we planned on going to MGM to see Fantasmic but it was too late so we went to the big Virgin Records store and went to all of the stores again. Then when we got back to the hotel, we had champagne that Mrs. Fitzpatrick's boss had sent her. We had to get up at 3:00 am so me and Kaite went to bed at like 1:00 and slept for about 2 hours before we had to get up again. Omg, it sucked so bad having to leave so early. I was like half asleep the entire time! We had to get on the bus at 3:45 to get to the airport. Then we had some breakfast at the airport before we got on the plane. We thought the plane would be empty since it was so early but every seat was taken! I was fine on the plane ride home since i had taken some medicine and since I pretty much slept the whole ride home! I was so glad when we got back home and I slept pretty much for the rest of the day!
So there's my whole trip! I had such an awesome time and I'm so sad it's over! But it was still a blast hanging with my homegirl Pandi! ( lol Kaite! ) Tomorrow I'm getting a haircut and then me Kaite and Laura are having a massive end of summer shopping day at Providence Place Mall! I can't wait to buy some Steve Madden's!
